Does anyone know what A-levels to take to become a Teacher or a Journalist for a magazine?
Because I dont know what ones to choose and i have to fill out the application forms now, but im definatley taking Media and English Literature but I dont know what other 2 to pick..
I took English Literature, English Language (essential for a journalist IMHO – you’ll learn lots about grammar and writing styles) and did an evening journalism course, which took me to a job in journalism. Sociology is a good one to do, as is a language.
Anyway, journalism rests more on experience and enthusiasm (for which I wrote for everyone and anyone), and you may wish to carry on to do the NUJ-related Journalism degree at somewhere like Uni. of Central Lancashire. But mainly, lots of experience 
As for being a teahcer, well…what sort of teacher do you want to be, first and foremost? To be a teacher you either need to do a degree in any subject and then do a PGCE, or do a 4-year teaching degree.
