HELP! Ideas for parcel to Australia?
What did you miss from Britain in Oz?
My sister and her family (one niece, two nephews) have all moved to Oz. I’m sending a parcel out with a birthday pressie for my sis. I’ve incuded a few cards and letters for the kids but wanted to include a few bits to remind them of home. Thought about things such as chocolate etc, can you get Cadbury’s choclate in Oz? Would it be ok to send chocolate in a parcel or will it all melt? Any other ideas? I’ve thought about including a local paper and some celebrity gossip magazines. What else could I put in? British tea bags? As I’ve never been to Oz I don’t know how things compare and what I would miss. Any GENUINE ideas PLEASE!?
you can send food items, depending on what they are, try ringing the airport see what they let in, or look on a website there should be info there.
Cadbury’s chocolate is a good one to send, tea bags, custard powder, marmite (if they like it), have a look on the aussie ebay, people sell food to other countries, you could join an aussie ebay forum and ask what they can’t get or what they miss.
