Is a Hakin9 magazine worth $50-70?
I was at my local bookstore today and I actually saw they got a new computer magazine in today. The magazine was called Hakin9 and it looked pretty cool, and covered topics that were useful to any above average programmer and security expert; such as, SQL injection, packet filtering/mentoring, and stopping MAC address spoofing (or something similar…). Anyway, I was looking online to order a subscription, but it seems pretty freaking high. I was wondering if anyone who has actually read a few of these magazines could tell me if there is enough information in them, to warrent a 50-70 subscription.

If you are really really serious about computer security, and are looking to network your way into a high-paying security job, hackin9 is a better way to do it than 2600. If you just want the information, then 2600 is a good choice but the feds won’t like you as much.
