Searching For Magazine Box With Lid Info? We”ve Done The Hard Work For You

How do I separate paper for recycling?
I live in a small town and I recycle. I have to take the items 15 miles away to recycle. How do I organize paper? Like can copy paper, newspaper, and magazines go together? Or how does that work? What about like packaging boxes. Like the small box nose spray would come in. Please help! Thanks. And if you know, can plastic lids be recycled with their container?
As far as I know, there is no such thing as “categories” for paper like there is for plastic. Obviously, there must be some exceptions, but just be logical. Multi-purpose paper, newspaper, magazines, cardboard can be put in the same box/tied together. For boxes, unfold them so they’re flat. Some book covers are not recyclable, and any paper/cardboard with grease cannot be recycled.
Plastic is more complicated because there are different categories. I know for sure that water bottle caps are not recyclable, so I’m assuming that juice carton caps aren’t, either. But they are removed at the recycling plant, so we generally leave them on. It may be more work for the people there, but it’s hard to tell which plastics will be accepted and which plastics won’t.
Kudos to you for recycling!
