Have you ever heard of T.E.A.CH.?
This isn’t really a question so much as a suggestion: read this week’s issue of “People” magazine. There’s a short article about Mary Lou Wallner, a woman who turned her back on her lesbian daughter. After her daughter committed suicide, Ms. Wallner began really studying the scriptures, and founded T.E.A.C.H., which stands for Telling Everyone About the Consequences of Homophobia. She is also featured in the documentary “For the Bible Tells Me So.”

I have never heard of this.
How sad! I feel sorry for both of them. Had the woman kept her mouth shut and accepted her sweet daughter as she was, she would have her daughter.
I don’t know if I can bring myself to read the article, for I already have a bad attitude toward this mother.
