What kind of bug is this?
I went out to play disc golf with my friends the other day in Suffolk, VA. The course is mostly in the woods. Shortly after that day, these little bugs started showing up in my bedroom. I noticed 2 of them on my dirty clothes hamper. Then today I was lying on my bed reading a magazine and one started crawling up the page. I killed all 3 of them. When I wrapped them up and squeezed they made a crunch feeling. They’re about the shape of a lady bug, a bit smaller. They’re gray with white markings on they’re back. I turned one over and it was struggling to get back on its feet and it looks like it may have wings. I looked up a bunch of pictures of ticks but none of them looked like what I am dealing with. If anyone has any insight please let me know.
you said shape of a lady bug and that they crunch so they wouldn’t be a tick but another type of beetle. They could be boll weevils if they have a long nose or another type of common house beetle common referred to as the boll weevil but it isn’t so I don’t know what it is but it’s really small so it’s probably not that, just look up beetle pictures and you should eventually find it
